Redeem a code

Backed World Note on Tumblbug? Thank you. Your redeem code unlocks saving. Activation happens once, online and binds the unlock to your device — so a shared code can’t be reused without limit. After that, the app verifies the unlock offline every time you open it.

How to redeem

1. Download and install World Note from the Mac App Store or Microsoft Store.

2. Open World Note and go to Settings → Billing.

3. Paste your code (it starts with WN1.…) into the Redeem code field and click Unlock.

4. You’ll see “Unlocked. Thank you!” — saving is now enabled on this device.

Using it on more than one device

A code can be activated on a small number of devices (so you can use World Note on, say, your desktop and laptop). Manage them in Settings → Billing: you can see your activated devices and deactivate one to free up a slot for another.

Note

When you activate, the app sends the code plus a random per-install device identifier and your device name to our activation service, so the unlock can be bound to your devices. We store only that identifier, device name, and activation times — no account, none of your content. See the privacy policy for details.

Troubleshooting

• “The code’s signature isn’t valid.” — Double-check the code; it’s easy to miss a character. Copy and paste the whole thing.
• “That doesn’t look like a valid code.” — Make sure you pasted the entire code, including the WN1. prefix.
• Out of device slots? — Open Settings → Billing on a device you no longer use and deactivate it, which frees a slot.
• Activation needs to reach the internet once. After that, World Note works offline.
